Today is the official start to the Summer Olympics in London. The boys are excited about watching (at least part of) the opening ceremonies tonight. They have been in summer camp at their preschool last week and this week, and this week the theme was Olympics. They even met former 1984 Olympian, Missy Kane, who is from Knoxville. She even brought the Olympic torch she carried through Knoxville when the Summer Olympics were in Atlanta in 1996.
The boys made the Olympic rings they're holding out of paper plates and finger paint at camp this week. They also made 2 of the windsocks you see in the background. Boone actually made the one in the middle with Mrs. Betty at school back in the spring. And I couldn't resist buying them the Snoopy Olympics t-shirts from Old Navy when I saw them. I have always been a huge Snoopy fan.
