Fenn's Introduction to "Organized" Sports ~ Soccer!

Last night, Fenn started playing soccer.  Well, they don't actually play soccer.  It's really just a 5 week class, meeting once a week, where they introduce 2 1/2 year olds & older to some basic soccer skills.  His friend Ella Kate is in the class, as well as another former classmate, Claire.  Picture it... wide open inside soccer field PLUS 10-15 kids under the age of 4 PLUS 10-15 soccer balls flying in all directions PLUS one very patient teacher/coach EQUALS a whole lot of fun and chaos.
.: Fenn picked out his orange soccer socks (over a selection of 7 or 8 colors) and his blue soccer shorts when we stopped by The Soccer Post after the zoo the other day.

It was tons of fun for me to watch.  Daddy had a great time running around the field with Fenn.  And Fenn seemed to have a lot of fun, too.  Our plan is to introduce him to as many things as possible (sports, music, art, etc.).  If he likes something, then he can continue.  But if he doesn't like it, we're not going to force him to do anything he doesn't like.  Same will go for Boone, too.

When the class was over, we headed over to Chick-fil-A with Ella Kate and Claire for family night.  And Fenn got to meet the Chick-fil-A cow.
